I have a lot of feelings about this series of gifs right now.

I mean, my god, Benedict’s entire face is laugh lines. You can see where one muscle coaxes the next, and how it begins at his dimples from years of smiling. It gets me to thinking about how our lives show on our faces.

Honestly, my eyes well up a little thinking about how well Ben must live his life in order to have evidence of authentic happiness and good humour etched on his face like that.

Benedict, all fangirliness aside: if I ever meet you, please teach me how to be as open and good-natured as you are. You’re such an inspiration.

I love all of these gifs (and the very eloquent and well thought out comment above), but in particular the bottom left. It is such a genuine smile. I can’t stop watching it. I just want to hug him.
